Hello -

I believe I have Metatarsalgia on my left foot. I have pain in the bottom/forefoot area. It hurts worse when I am barefoot and apply pressure to it. I do have custom orthodics made both for gym shoes and for dress shoes, however sometimes they don't fit properly in my shoe. I am still having a lot os symptoms and pain and am looking for any advice on how to treat this. Has anyone tried any alternative therapies? Physical therapy? Acupuncture? Muscle Activation?

I am not even sure who to see about this anymore - podiatrist? orthopedic? neurologist? rhumatalogist?(sp)

Any advice is much appreciated - I miss being active.
Thanks!
