:jester: I want everyone to join me is wishing Stan a Happy Birthday.:jester:

Stan, Happy Birthday. I hope you have had a good day so that you can enjoy it with your family and enjoy a piece of Cake. I know Kim has a great cake for you!

While I hate seeing all the pain you have had and still are having I have to say you are one of the BIG inspirations on this board. Like the energizer bunny you keep going and going and I am so happy about that. Go Bunny go! When I hear you are having a good day it brightens my day, When I hear you are having a bad day it brings me down a bit and people at work look at me like how can what is happening to some guy you never met effect you? They can't understand how people on this board come together as a family and really do care about each other. I often take you and Kim to work with me and during the slower moments of the night shift when all is quiet I find myself thinking of you both and sending prayers your way. I figure at that time of night most people are asleep so God and I can have some alone time .lol :bouncing: Happy Birthday Stan!!!! :bouncing: Birthday Hugs JanMarie

Kim,

I am so sorry to hear that Stan had a terrible day on his birthday. It made me feel so blue today..good thing Faith posted some good news! You are probably right when you said he knows it is his last birthday and I know how hard it is to see someone accept that. I remember my mom at Kevin's graduation last June. Up until that point she was still talking like she would be around for years but afterwards she was so fatigued and said If by some small chance she was still alive for the next graduation which is Christopher in 2008 that she would need a wheelchair to attend. She tried to make it sound like a joke but I knew she was really thinking that she would not be around and that this was the only grandson she would see graduate and It was hard to see as it was like a stab in the heart. My heart goes out to you. I wish I could say it gets easier but it doesn't. Not a great choice when it is have less pain but sleep all day or be awake but in intense pain. I hope today and the next few days are a little better. Lots of prayers heading your way this evening. And Yes I will have a piece of cake! Thankyou! :p JanMarie

Just got on the boards again this evening and wanted to say Happy belated Day to Stan. You guys really are the inspiration for all of us, whether we are the one struggling with cancer or the loved ones watching us struggle. You and Kim have such a great relationship. We care about you and you have given us so much.
Peace be with you both.
