Hey,
I'm currently on a low-calorie diet. Since January 2002, I have lost 88 pounds. I am looking for a meal replacement shake that is a good source of protein. I bought something today from Wal-Mart called "EAS AdvantEdge Soy Protein Shake". It doesn't mention, though, if it is meant to be a meal replacement. Could someone help me with this? Did I buy the right thing? Which ones taste the best? Help! Thanks!!!

I'd guess that you bougth a protein shake, not a meal replacement supp. You can check on the nutritional info. Meal replacement powders will have carbs and fat in them too. Protein shakes will have only protein with maybe max 1-2g of carbs and fat too. Also, you bought a soy protein and there's some debate about how good they are and whether they raise levels of oestrogen. Whey protein is best for post workout or first thing in the morning as it's absorbed quickly. I use Casein for other times as it's digested slower.
Personally, my favorite is protein supp is EAS Simply Protein. Don't know about meal replacements. I've never used them.

Im going to give you a valuable piece of advice here:

Never buy supplements from anywhere except online. A simple 20 minute or less shopping session online can save you a significant amount of money. Several of my favorite websites (which I believe I am not allowed to post) waive shipping and there's no tax and when you buy in bulk (which is the smart thing to do) you save loads.

By the way, if you really bust your a$$ in the gym and want a really awesome post workout protein shake, go with the glycerlean by Designer. Came out fairly recently. Look at the ingredients and the stuff that's in it. If you know your stuff, you'll be quite impressed.
