Happy new year everybody!

Lately things have been pretty busy for me. I'm almost 17, about 5'11. I was 145 lbs, but now I lost 5 lbs because I haven't done any weight lifting for nearly a month now. I'm going back to the gym this week and had a few questions. I usually go heavy with few reps and about 4-5 sets per exercise. But since it's been a month, should I go lighter or should I just continue with my normal routine ? Also, is there anything else I can do to get back on track ?

I would appreciate your help, thanks.

You wouldn't have to go to light, but its not a good idea to go right back into crazy heavy weights after a month long brake. I say you should just safly get back into it by doing lighter weights for the first day or two and if you don't feel that sore good pain you used to get back in the day then you should go abit heavier untill you feel the burn again, but trust me I think you'll feel it on day 2 of the workout even with lighter wieghts. Hope I helped.
