Hey everyone! I just returned from my cd 12 u/s and b/w. I have 8 under 10 on the left and 10 under 10 on my right. My lining was 5.4. What does this all mean? Should they be bigger at this point? Is it normal to have 18 of them growing in there or will I get cysts?? I don't feel like the clomid is doing anything- I didn't have any side effects yet this month. I took 100mg of clomid cd 5-9. The u/s tech sounded pleased but she did last time too so I don't know... now just waiting for my nurse to call.... anyone else know what there follicles are at durring the begining of the cycle? Thanks!

Hi Puppy well it seems like ur follicles should be bigger at this point.Did u only take clomid? This month my RE put me on clomid 100mg and bravelle.I had 4 follicles on day 12 at 20,17,15,13.I triggered that night and had IUI 36 hrs later. So IUI was on day 12.What the bravelle does is help them mature. It sounds like u do have a lot of follicles that is a lot for only being on clomid.I guess just wait for ur nurse to call but no its to early for u to trigger ur follicles are to small. Also ur lining seems a little thin at this point as well.My lining on day 10 was 7.5.Well keep us posted.

Puppy, your follies do seem a little small, but I don't think that is really a bad thing. You will probably just O a little later in your cycle. I can't remember my numbers, but on CD 12, I think my biggest follie was around 14 or 15. I had my IUI on CD 18. Maybe they just need a little more time to mature. Also, your lining does seem thin, but if your follies aren't ready either, then it definitely has time to thicken up!!! Hang in there! I think you are progressing well, just a little slower than usual. Also, there are meds out there to help your follies mature, so if your dr does feel this is a problem (which I'm not necessarily sure it is), it is not a problem that they can't take care of. :)

Please keep us posted on your progress. I will bet they will schedule you for another u/s in a couple days...

Hi Puppy,

I was a slow responder on clomid too and thought on one of my cycles I was never going to make it to IUI. I did eventually complete both cycles though but one of my IUIs was somewhere around cd18 or something. So don't worry yet. You still have some time to get one or two dominant follicles growing. I'm sending lots of growing follies vibes to you! :D Let us know how it goes.

Hey Girls, thank you for responding! Well, the nurse called and I am sheduled for another ultrasound on monday APRIL(can you believe it) 2nd at 9 my cd 16. She said that things are progessing slowly but my est. was still rising. Last month my est dropped and they said I wouldn't ovulate I had one at 14.5...This depresess me :( I know that I may still get there this cycle but its very hard right now bc I honestly thought that I would atleast ovulate once I took the clomid. And I figured I would respond well to 50mg bc I am so small, well im tall but thin and figured if 25mg works for some ppl 50 would work good..well ya kno..and all these dr.'s(the previos ones I was seeing- not my RE) are walking around like I don't really have any problems and here I am not responding! My other dr wouldn't give clomid she just wanted to put me on bcp. I just thought that since I was so young and everyone else around me was popping up prego and they wern't "really" trying that once they actually gave me the clomid it would work like a charm.. Sorry girls im rambling- maybe this news of me being "slow responding" gets me depressed bc my friend just found out what she is going to have and my sister was talking to me today about how bad her gas pains were! She finds out after vaca what shes having...deep breath::: I feel better ..sorry girls feel free to skip down!!
