what is a good way to lose weight and tone up the area around my hips and my outer and inner thighs. I had a baby about a year ago and lost 50-60 lbs., but that is the area I'm having trouble with. Any suggestions, I'm all ears.

Here are a few exercises that target the inner and outer thighs.....you might want to incorporate squats and some calf raises into your routine as well. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif
Leg adductions
Attach a cable cuff from a low pulley to the leg you will be working and stand at the side of the cable machine. Allow the cable to tug your leg toward it. This is the starting position. Pull the leg inward and across( in front, not behind ) of your opposite leg. Continue to pull in or “ adduct until you feel a peak contraction in your adductors. Pause and return fighting all the way.
Outer Quad Sweep Legg Presses
This exercise targets the outer quad sweep, which is responsible for making a bodybuilders waist look smaller.
Implementation: These are performed like traditional leg presses except you place your feet closer than shoulder width apart and point your toes straight forward. The closer the more you will target the outer sweep. You also need to place your feet lower on the pad, again the closer to the bottom the better.
Inner Thigh Legg Presses
The leg press allows you to concentrate more than any other exercise on this particular area.
Implementation: These are performed like traditional leg presses except you place your feet midway on the pad and spread them as far out on either end as you possibly can. The wider the more you will target the inner thighs. You also need to point your toes out, again the more you exaggerate this position, the greater the inner thighs will be worked.
