Hi All

Its been a very long time since I posted which is a good sign I guess- I'm sorry that some of the old faces are still here, but glad to here that has been some improvement (scott and comeandrelax).

Since taking Pitozifen last september I have have been between 95-100% most of the time.

I still have days where i still feel a 'bit off' (the weirdness, not quite with it as if drugged ,spacey and vision a little off), but Ive kind of got used to it. I suppose I have come to terms with the fact it will always be 'my weakness'.

This past week I have been feeling off most days due to a virus I think I have got- strange cos I havent felt this low on the % scale for a while (I say low and its like 90% though!)

My diagnosis seems to be MAV, but sometimes I think I might have the lingering symptoms of a bad case of VN.

Who knows, maybe it will gradually dissapate on its own over the years.

My only advice, as many people have told me here, is that it does always get BETTER and not worse so keep POSITIVE.

By the way drinking, flying, exercising dont seem to affect it- so i wouldnt worry if you need to fly etc.I'm even going snowboarding next week!

All in all I'm pretty good and have adjusted to my 'condition' in an odd way.It still irriatates me when I have 'off' days, but hey its better than I was 7 months ago.

I lead a normal life, socialise and am doing well at work.

I have had this for 20 months now- it will be 2 years in August (wow!).I will update and check how everyone is doing then.

Hi Charlotte

I have done VRT exercises since last summer, as they seemed to have little affect on my condition (i.e they didnt make me dizzy, I just felt spaced out and deatched all the time).

I go to the gym 2/3 times a week and do a half hour run and weights session- I need it as the Pitozifen puts on weight. I am now a pretty big guy and look like a football player!

C&R- I hope by 2 years thisd will have completely gone and I can come of the meds- who knows - we can only hope!
