Hi everyone...I need some straight answers. Please help. I'm 52 smoked up to 3 packs a day for 20 yrs. I quit for 15 yrs. and as stupid as it may sound, I started again a year and a half ago. I was having pain in my middle back that moved around to my chest and shoulder. It finally hurt so bad that I went to the doctor. He ordered an xray. It showed spots, so he ordered a CT Scan. It read as follows: There are numerous poorly-defined small nodular densities in the right and left upper lobes measuring less than 1 cm in short axis diameter. There is also a peripheral pleural based 0.7 cm nodule in the inferior aspect of the right middle lobe. There is a tiny 0.6 cm nodule in the peripheral aspect of the left lower lobe. Centrilobular emphysematous changes are present in the right and left upper lobes. There is no significant mediastinal or hilar adenopathy. No evidence of pleural or pericardial effusion. The thoracic aorta is within normal limits. There are no suspicious skeletal lesions.
I had vulvar cancer about 7 yrs. ago. I went to a pulmonologist and she said it could be an infection. She will view my ct scans and wants me to have another ct scan when I go back to see her April 4. I am short of breath, have a constant cough and am always tired. This has all been going on since January. No one has given me any answers. I hope I will hear something on the 4th. Please tell me and be frank about what you think.

Thank You
Toni52
