For the people who have had infusions, what did they give you to prevent a reaction? I know it is usually benedryl and tylenol, but would those two be safe to take, or would they react with other prescription medicines?

For the people who have had infusions, what did they give you to prevent a reaction? I know it is usually benedryl and tylenol, but would those two be safe to take, or would they react with other prescription medicines?

I will be going for my 7th IV iron in about a week. I usually get benedryl and steroids with the iron via IV. I have not heard of tylenol to be give at the infusion. I do take tylenol after I get home when I have joint pain afterwards.

I get a lot of light headed and SOB after the infusion. Is this normal or something is going wrong with me?
