from what i have gathered i have a sinus infection. i have a very annoying pain below my eyes, and i can't smell or taste. every once in a while i can hack up some of the yellow crud but it wants to stick to the back of my throat. is there any remidies for getting the stuff out? or do i just need to go see a doc and get some antibiotics(last resort, no insurance)?

You can hit it hard with decongestants, steriodal nasal sprays, and saline rinses. However if it last for ten days you will only be able to get rid of it with a long duration treatment of antibiotics. An anti-histamine will also help minimize new mucus production and allow the decogestant to work better.
