My poor 89 year old mother is desperate. For months now she has had itching all over her body. Feels hot but no rash or spots to see. She has been to see a dermatologist. She has been on steroids for 2 weeks (helped a little) and has tried 3 different creams but these have not had much effect. Being 89 she finds it very difficult to apply them, especially around the back and shoulders.These creams are soothing for a bit - maybe 10 mins. At night she scratches till it bleeds!

Any help or suggestions pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeese!
