I went for my 3rd u/s and b/w for this cycle today. My lining went from 5.4 to 10.5 since last thursday! I don't know what its supposed to be but that sounds good?? My left ovary is taking control this month I think- I have 1 follie at 15.5(whohoo thats bigger than last month on cd18 I was 14.5) and another at 11.5. The right had 10 under 10 still. I still have to wait for the nurse to call today make sure b/w is still good... What do you think girls do you think Ill make it to ovulation this month??

Hey Puppy, that sounds good!! My lining was at 10 at my final U/S before IUI, and my nurse said they were very happy with that. The fact that your follie is growing with the lining sounds even better. I will bet it depends on the bloodwork, but it sounds like you will definitely make it to O this month. :blob_fire :blob_fire Way to hang in there!!

Thank you Holly! My nurse just called and said I am scheduled for another round of u/s & b/w on wed. my cd 18. Hopefully they will have good news for me! I have been kind of achey around both of my ovaries- could this be from the follies growing? Hopefully I will get to ovulation this round and then I can bei n my 1st 2ww ever!! Yay!

That sounds great! :blob_fire Linings over 7 are good and over 10 are great. So you have a great lining! Sounds like your follies are right on their way too. Anything over 15 is usually considered mature although they usually like to try to wait until they are 17 or bigger. Good luck and keep us posted.

Question does anyone know how much ur lining thickens from day to day.Like for example 2 days before my IUI my lining was 7.9 so on day of IUI how thick could it have gotten?I know crazy question.

I am excited!! I feel like I am going to get there this month! I hope things go good tomorrow! I have a tmi question- Before you ovulate how many days before do you get ewcm and does it slowly increase to the peak amount or does it just come and go? I ask bc yesterday I started getting what seems like a ton to me but then this morning it seems to not be so much. So because I know I didn't ovulate yet will more come back or will it dry up too soon -ive heard clomid can do that? Ive gotta get DH bding- we havent done IUIs as of yet. Can any of you tell me what the process of IUI's is? Do they collect a new "sample" the same time they do the IUI or do they schedule to collect before the IUI? How long does one take and what do they do to you? Do they hurt? Sorry I just don't know anything abt IUI's. Thanks girls

Hi Puppy well I can help u with the IUI question.No it doesnt hurt at all.It is like getting a pap done.Now they will collect a fresh sample from DH 2 hrs prior to IUI so they can wash it.Dident ur RE go over all this with u?Well good luck and let us know.

No she hasn't said anything about them yet. We are still trying au naturale! :) On a positive note I took an OPK today and it was +++! The first one!! I haven't had a color change yet and Ive been testing since cd 10 and all last cycle! Hopefully tomorrows bw and us will tell too! What do i do now bd tonight tomorrow ?? We didn't last nite is that bad??

Good luck!!! I only had one IUI before I went to IVFs. It doesn't take long at all. I had to lay on my back sort of tilted for about 20minutes on the exam table. It should not hurt.

Thank you! I just got back from my u/s b/w and I didn't get the tech I have had in the past, bummer. She was still nice just not as descriptive- she didn't tell me what the lining was this time.. maybe the nurse will when she calls. Anyways not a huge growth but from 15.5 to 17 since monday on my left. The right all just little one under 10. The thing is Ive been in quite a bit of pain around my left ovary. Is this normal for only having a 17mm follicle I mean dont they get to be like well over 20 in most people? Why does it hurt so much! LoL Im not comlaining tho- atleast it feels like something is happening! It just makes the bd a little uncomfortable- does anyone have this around ovulation or could something be wrong?
