Hi,
I am a 51 yr. old female whose libido is not real good. I read somewhere that Ginkgo can help this. Does anyone know if this it true? Thanks!

My sister-in-law swears by it for both energy and libido. She likes it in liquid form - a couple of drops in a cup of tea or whatnot.

This is likely true. The ancient Egyptians used the Blue Lotus for that purpose, and a few years ago Ginkgo Biloba was compared to the Blue Lotus plant, and shown to have almost the exact same chemical structure. The Blue Lotus is ubiquitous in ancient Egyptian art, and was highlighted in a PBS special on ancient Egypt. The Epygtians used the Blue Lotus for everything, it seems.

I read a study saying that taking Ginkgo while on antidepressants would counteract the sexual side affect of them. It is worth a try, you have nothing to lose.

I only have one concern about the ginkgo. Someone told me it can thin your blood. And also it can cause issues when you are on certain medications. I am not sure who to ask about this. I may have to see if I can find out on an internet search.
Thanks.
