Hi - I'm new here, but I read this thread from a ****** search and wanted to reply. I've been on Propranolol for two years fpr anxiety, and have never taken more than 30mg at once. I've been on 10mg x 3 daily for about a month. But I stopped taking it yesterday and today I feel terrible. My normal bpm was 50-60, on Propranolol it was 40-50, but since stopping it, it is rapidly rising. It is now above 120 and I am completely frightened. Is it likely to go away or am I in trouble. I am only 25 so I don't think it should be as high. My hands are shaking, I feel hot and dizzy. Not sure what to do!

Leon.

I had similar symptoms, but more severe. Pulse rate was about 160. I was sweaty and shaky all over. I was also very nauseous. It was a nightmare.
