I'm not having my period, but I'm spotting. Any one know what causes this? Here's some background info: I'm 37, 5'7" and 106 lbs. My periods are regular and I have never been pregnant.

any chance your pregnant now?
Do you work out? Have you changed your exercise routine? Sometimes women who are very active/athletic have problems with regulating their periods.
5'7" and 106lbs-- that's pretty tiny.
Sometimes in women who have had a rapid change in their bodies, it can effect their periods. Have you always been thin? Or maybe you just lost a lot of weight in a short amount of time?
Do you use Birth Control Pills? Those can always mess around a bit with your body!
Anything else going on with the spotting-- pain or anything?
sorry for all the questions!
I'd say give your Gyno a quick call and see what the Dr. has to say.

Thanks for the info. I'm not pregnant now, not on the pill, I lost weight at a normal pace (40 lbs over a year), but I did recently join a gym. I bet that's the cause. Thanks for the info, these boards are great.

Just make sure that you're not overloading your workout, and that you're still eating properly!!
