Hi! I am new here and i started this site in hopes that i can get some help, I have an 8 month old baby boy who is showing no attmepts to crawling, I put him on his belly and he crys i put him anywhere and he cry's, I always have to be holding him. My thing is how far behind is he? My 9 yr old was crawling by 8 months, Is something wrong with him?:confused: If you have advise on how i can get him to go please help,:)

My son was the same way. He didn't even sit up on his own until he was almost 7 months old. (he had 4 broken ribs from delivery) I tried a lot of toys layed out in front of him. That seemed to help. They make little pillows...I think they're called Boppy or something...maybe try him on that. Just to let you know, my little boy is going to be 4 and is now advanced for his age. It just takes some time. I'm sure once he starts crawling he's just going to take off after that. He might even go straight to walking. He might suprise you. Good luck.
