I got over bronchitis and they put me on flovent with advair as well as the zithromax. Well I feel better but I was told to do the flovent for 2 weeks. I'm about to stop but the past few days its like a little sore throat and hoarse. I feel basically ok. I don't think I'm sick. I'm wondering do I just stop the flovent? He just said for two weeks and its been about 2. If anyone has had thrush what did it feel like? Please any responses would be greatly appreciated. I'm on a new job, missed a day already for the bronchitis and I have a lot to do! I'm afraid of jeopardizing the job but if its possibly thrush I'd want to stop that. I had it once it my mouth after taking something and I know it was white and my mouth hurt something awful. It doesn't feel that bad at least not yet.

Yes. You can get trhush in your throat. My daughter did, but she was about 3 at the time so I am not sure how uncomfortable it was. The dr will usually prescribe antibiotics.

I didn't use the flovent last night and this am and it feels a little better, maybe it was just too much stuff. If it gets worse I'll call the dr. Thanks

advair causes thrush if you don't rinse and gargle after you use it, my lung doctor told me to rinse and gargle with whole milk then drink the rest, you will need antibiotics to get rid of it,

Yes, I believe you can get thrush in your throat. Be sure to rinse your mouth out after using flowvent.

I stopped using the flovent and it seems to have gone away. So I guess it wasn't thrush.
