I have been chewing tabacco on and off for a couple of months and when I finally decided I would quit I poured out the rest of what I had into the toilet and said I would never do it again. About 3 weeks later my brother comes home (after I already said I quit) and says I got some chew do you want some? I said no, but he left the house and I noticed that he just left it unopened on his counter and thought I would do just a little bit. Sure enough that's all it took to get me back going and he keeps coming home with it.
Yesterday I noticed a little bump in my bottom lip right where I ussualy put it. If I push my tongue any where in my mouth on the insides of my cheeks or my upper lip I feel small bumps. So is it possilbe that this larger bump is just a little swolen? What is an early sign of cancer and how long should I wait to get it checked out to see if it's anything bad? Also this is a big enough scare for me to quit FOR GOOD! I know that for a fact. Just looking at everything online about it looks bad.
So is this anything to be worried about? The bump is really small but big enough to notice, but not big enough to see in the mirror.
