Hi,

I'm a student of Economics at UCSD in La Jolla, CA and I've heard about a number of rituals that help students find the fuel to burn the midnight oil. Some drink only energy drinks but complain of the peaks and valleys. Some prefer tea since it is lighter than coffee but still caffinated. Most every one else likes to drink coffee; usually in high doses and under stressful conditions.

I am a coffee drinker. Besides the few times that I can not resist the temptation of a cinnamon roll, I am starting to notice that coffee is harsh on my stomach.

So I've been meaning to try this stomach friendly coffee but I've noticed that there are mixed reviews for different brands. My question is for anyone who is a coffee drinker with a sensitive stomach: Which brands work and which ones do not?

I don't know if any of the brands work really well. I have tried plenty of them as it can bother my stomach as well. Most of what I have tried taste terrible!

However, I have had some luck with Folgers "Simply Smooth". It's not too bad on the stomach, pretty good flavor, (not gourmet, but a good average coffee flavor) inexpensive, and simple to find at most grocery stores. It comes in both caffinated, and de-caf. for those evenings you just want a good cup of coffee without burning the midnight oil.

It's certainly worth a try to see if you like it.
