did any of you have difficulty finding a doctor that would listen to you? I just went through a doctors appointment with a "respiratory specialist" who, after multiple questions and retelling me over and over again it wasn't my lungs and it was not allergies, bluntly told me I had sleep apnea! He actually argued with me about getting sick walking into a new building - tightened vocal chords, "bear hug" chest tightness, and not being able to breathe. "its a clean building" he would say... i was so mad... any of you have any suggestions? did you go to specialists? family doctors? THANKS!!!

Doctors seldom have answers to health problems that are outside of their realm of training and experience.
Doctors are just auto mechanics that studied human repair, instead of car repair. How many bad mechanics are there? Many! How many bad, or ineffective doctors are there? Many!
Even the really good doctors struggle with illnesses that are not highly researched or documented.
So....... the end result is that doctors don't want to look less than experts, so in order to charge high rates, without doing much good for patients, the doctors blame the patients for their own illnesses by telling the patient that it is the patient's anxiety or stress that is causes the illness. What this does is robs the patient of any hopes of getting a cure for their misery, when, in many, many, MANY cases, it is the illness, or health problems, that cause the anxiety and stress and not the other way around!
Good luck at finding a doctor who has any credible experience or knowledge of chemical sensitivities.
