I used a Fitness Bar my chiropractor loaned me to help strengthen my lower back. It is based upon Physical Therapy rehab principles and I just continued to use it for my legs and then my upper body. It is shorter than a yardstick and weighs a couple of pounds at the most, but is best described as target stretching and the resistance can vary from maybe 5 lbs to what seems like a 50 lb dumbbell, which is pretty heavy. Whatever muscle group targeted responded like using free weights. I would really like to know if anyone else has USED this? B

My husband got one for his upper body with 2 bands, one was for me and the other was for him. He likes it for its resitence level and I like the single body exercise although I do use the video program for the cardio workout and it takes my pulse rate up to about 150/m. You dont think it does what it claims... but it does. We didnt find it in a store, but a referal to the website from my husbands friend. It seems very new, but it does work. It is very simple to use. We are impressed.
