Could someone give an estimate as to time to recover from this. My stepdaughter was running 5 to 10 miles three times a week. She got this at the end of December. Now she limps a bit while walking. Unable to run and has limited movement.

The doctor has sent her to an Orthopedist who does
Sports Medicine.

Does anyone have a timeline for recovery?

as I'm not a medical doctor, i can say nothing on this lol, but it can be a real problem. She sould get some therapy for it if it's a really bad problem. That tendon is important, very important. And proper rehabilitation of it will lead to a quick and effecient recovery.
