Is there a particular order I am supposed to be doing my free weight exercises in? I have been lifting weights for about a year on and off but really want to start doing it regularly to try to tone my body as i lose weight: These are the exercise I do:
Arms:
Chest press
Seated row
bicep curl
Tricep overhead extension
Legs:
Squats
Lunges
Calf raises
Leg lifts
Abs:
crunch
reverse crunch
Side crunches

Also, if anyone has any recommendations on other exercise I can do with free weights I would appreciate it.

Any help is great help!!! Thanks... http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/dance.gif

It looks like you are using the correct order. Larger muscle groups first (chest/back; quads/hamstrings) and then smaller muscle groups (bicep/tricep; calves; abs).

As far as other exercises, I would recommend looking up the Muscle and Fitness Hers website .. they have lots including photos.

So you're going to do all those, like full body routine, twice a week or so?

You should do larger muscle groups first. Just like you've got them, you'd want to do chest and back before bis and tris.

Looks like you need to throw shoulders in there too. Shoulder press, upright rows, front raises and lateral raises can all be doing using dbs.

"So you're going to do all those, like full body routine, twice a week or so? "

Not the OP, but I wanted to ask if it was OK to do a full body routine 3 times a week--alternate days.

Thanks!

I'd say two rest days in between might be enough. GO by your body, if you're sore, wait another day.

Unless I'm reading your post wrong...some of your arm exercises aren't really for arms.
"Arms:
Chest press
Seated row"
