...I've been off my bp meds for almost 6 months, and it's still low to normal. :)
Good luck to all

Way to go! It's nice reading another success story! :)
From reading your previous notes, it seems like your blood pressure is under control through mainly diet and exercise. I've also found that diet and exercise are the best blood pressure "medications" for me, although I still need minimum doses of two blood pressure meds to keep my average blood pressure at very healthy levels.
How long were you on bp meds, and what types of bp readings had you been getting, before, that motivated your doctor to put you on medication?
Regards, and best of health!

I was on/off meds for about 9 years. Originally, I went to my doctor, and had a diastolic reading of about 100, and he put me on a beta-blocker. He never discussed diet changes, not once! Lookng back, his attitude was like "hey, we got another one." He told me that first day I'd be on bp medication for the rest of my life.
Well, I fooled him.
Among other things, I serously lowered my salt intake, weaned mself off those awful meds, and I've been fine since. Occasionally I have a diastolic reading in the high 80s, but usuall it's in the mid 70s or lower.

.....
I share your JOY of being off meds. Keep it up. :)
Due to my son's illnesses I experience this "doctor's fish on hook attitude". I thank God, I have learnt how to move on and seek out doctors who care to do no harm while paying their bills.
Ignorance is no longer bliss. Knowledge is power. :)

I agree with all of you...nothing more needs to be said except that I hope and pray that you continue to share your experiences and your wisdom.
Thank you, and may you be blessed with good health!
