So,you originally had the sclerosing injection to rid yourself of a varicose vein and it actually created a larger problem?this really doesn't sound like a normal reaction to me.that area should be cleared of any bruising by now.have you spoken with the doc who did the injection at all?if so,what were you told?technically,you should not have anything there anymore,as the sclerosed(injected)vein should have dissappeared post injection to a much clearer looking area,not actually created a new bruised looking area.ya know?

it is possible that when this injection was done,they actually infiltrated the vein itself which caused the blood to ooze under the skin,which would indeed make it look bruised,but your body should have absorbed that by now.you really DO need this looked at.there could be some other underlying probelm that you are just not aware of.11 months is a very long time to have this there.see the doc who did the procedure or at least have this looked into by your primary.but it DOES need to be evaluated.good luck and please let me know just what you find out,K?
