what kinda foot wear do y'all use when squatting/deading heavy? For the last couple of years ive just used an old pair of bball kicks, and never thought twice about it. Lately however after a heavy session, my ankles are left aching a bit. I know special shoes are made for the purpose, has anyone used them? i assume they are fairly pricey.
anyways was just wondering what you have had success with.

What's "special" about these squatting shoes? If it's a slightly higher heel, it's a waste of money. Maybe an ankle wrap will solve your woes?

I geuss technically they are termed power lifting shoes. I get the impression the are a combo of a boot and a wrestling shoe, if you can imagine that.
Dont know why i didnt think of the wrap. ill try that next time.

thnx
