Has anyone had surgical release for their tennis elbow? If so, was it successful and are you out of pain. I have suffered with tennis elbow for about 2 years now. I was scheduled for surgery in Feb. 07....but surgery was postponed by the hospital and I have never rescheduled it, as I am having second thoughts now. ( I had a failed DeQuervains surgery many years ago) and I am very leary of ANYONE cutting on me again. My OS is aware of my feelings and is not pushing me to have surgery unless I am sure I want it. He will continue to give me steroid injections as long as 3-4 months go by between each one. I do get total relief from the injections. Its just when it wears off and I think maybe I should reschedule the surgery. I just don't know what to do.
