While I was pregnant I gained 50 pounds, my son is now 3 months old and I have lost 20-30 of it. I would like to lose about 30-40 more, but I don't have much time and can't get out of the house much to exercise. Can anyone recommend some ways to lose weight?

First, check with your doctor. Your body is still delicate in the first six to eight weeks after you give birth and sometimes longer than that.
Here's a couple of ideas:
Home exercise videos.
Mother and baby yoga classes.
Walking and jogging behind a stroller.Invest in some Exercise equiptment.
Basically don't expect your body to be perfect-it's been streched for 9 months after all! Slowly you will get your shape back, but do't despair if everything looks a bit different.
If you are really home-bound and cannot make it to the gym then I would suggest getting a treadmill. Use it at least 3-4 days per week and really work up a sweat and in a few months time you can shed your unwanted weight. You also need to watch your diet but if you are breast feeding then dieting at this point may not be a good idea at all. Just don't eat "empty" calories and with enough cardio your weight will come off.

Hello, I wouldn't diet if you're breast feeding. You can eat single servings of stuff. I also love the "New Dimensions" exercise video that Cindy Crawford has out. It is broken down into 3 sections. The first section is for just after you've had your baby. The second section is a 15 min. workout to get you back into gear or for use when you are too busy to workout. The third is a hard 45 min. workout for when you really get back into shape. The music is great and the little excerpts of Cindy's home baby videos in between the sections are cute...especially the part of her husband trying to diaper the baby. It really is a serious video and I got great results fast.
