I've been doing Pilates, the 50 minute tape, for aboout 17 days now. I do feel a difference in my abs, they're tighter. I have a major amount of fat around my mid section so it'll probably take me longer than others to get a decent waist. However, I'm not sure if this is wishful thinking, but I do think I am getting thinner up top. I'm thin, but very wide. I'm starting to see curves forming and I couldn't be more thrilled. I'm not sure if Pilates will give me a nice body, or how long it will take, but during the workout I do feel it working, and after.

i just started winsor pilates a four days ago. i did the basic tape two times and the next day i did the 50 minute tape. was i supposed to do the 20 instead of the 50 minute one? anyways, i'm going to try the twenty minute tonight after i do a little cardio. i'm finding it hard to get motivated right now though because i'm just getting over strep throat....yucky! even though i haven't done it for long, i love what it involves! it looks kinda easy, but oh boy, it's not!! i just think that if you stick with it, eat healthy, do some cardio and be positive, you will see positive results.

broadwaygirl: i was just wondering...are you doing any extra cardio with the pilates? also, you say you've done them for 17 days...is that 17 days straight? thanks for the info!
