I had my T&A March 21st. It was rough, but I am through the hard part although I have noticed something. I went in with golfballs in my throat that could be felt on the outside of my throat. I have since noticed that swelling is back with my nasal drainage and they are swelled up again and painful. What are they??? I see my ENT next week for a check up, but was wondering if anyone else has this problem that the surgery did not solve. It is weird to look in the mirror and see what's missing in my throat, but to have the outside swollen golfballs still there? Just curious if anyone else noticed this.

Sounds like your lymph nodes are responding to some ill. Are you running a fever? Or are you just draining? If it is just draining, I would say check you pollen and pollution levels.. it is probably and environmentally stimulated response. The swelling of the lymph nodes are going to hurt more than you expect, because the throat is still bruised and healing from you T&A.

Sincerely,
MG
