This has been going on for over a year now, and everytime I contact the doctors he just gives me more eardops to clear the problem.

It all occurs after I go to see a music concert. I've done this with no problems for years, and yet 9 times out of 10 recently my ear is swelling slightly, and it leaks a watery wax.

I know that you can buy things to wear during concerts, but I was just curious how come this has started to happen now, when I've had no problems in the past.

Is it a sign of something else that I should be more concerned about?

I'd take any ear problem seriously, as they're easier to prevent than to fix. I'm guessing that the drops come from your GP, and suggest you go to an ENT or Otologist for a proper check. The watery discharge from only one ear sounds like a problem with that ear, rather than some type of earwax peculiar to you, which would come from both ears.

I'm also guessing we're not talking about chamber music here, but rather a reaction to a rock concert, for which you should use hearing protection anyway, especially under the circumstances.
