I am 27 years old and about a year ago I noticed a deposit (presumably colesterol) appear on my eye then as it grew bigger my doctor didn't say much about it, but then I got another one within a few months on my other eye and they both grew to be the same size, almost 10mm wide and have not changed since then. It happened within a span of maybe a year. My doctor checked my Colesterol levels which were fine. Should I be concerned? Is it possible it could be something else causing these deposits. Is there anything I can do to reduce them or make them go away? I've noticed my eyelids and general eyebrow area get itchy sometimes, they never used to. I don't know if it is coincidence but these started when my doctor put me on high blood pressure medication, which I no longer am perscribed anymore. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It's not clear from your post whether the bumps are on your eyeball or the area surrounding your eye, eg. the eyelid. We've had posts about both, but you'll have to look back to find them.

I'm sorry, they are on the inner eyelid. I tried looking back but could not find anything. I just want to know if they are really colesterol desposits or if it's something else causing them. The rate which they appeared and the size is concerning me.

I was going to edit my post to include these search terms: pinguecula, pterygium and chalazion. I believe the first two are lumps on the eyeball and the last is on the eyelid. Do a search on chalazion and another using the word "bump" and you'll get tons of threads.
I looked up "chalazion" and the definition said it was caused by inflammation of an oil gland. I think there are white lumps you can get on your eyelid that are not inflammatory (I've seen them on people), but I know nothing about this subject.

Thanks for the info, I just researched them and none of them are what is on my eyelids. I made a mistake and said they were on my "inner" eyelids, but they are on the outside, just located on the inner side near my nose, which is typically where cholesterol deposits happen.
