Im 18 and get the odd spot but nothing major. Around last christmas I had one on my nose, I squeezed it and thought nothing of it. 4 months later and it is still red as if i just squeezed it. I know i shouldnt have touched it with my hands but I did. There is no lump, to the eye it's a red dot. If I gently run my finger over it I can feel a very small dip. I have tried savalon skin cream and witch hazel but it hasn't changed. I have a few blackheads on my nose, some even on the red spot.

Could someone give me any ideas how to get rid of this ? Its quite depressing waking up in the morning, looking in the morror and seeing it is still the same. If i very genlty push it the red mark disapears for a second but then the redness comes back. Someone told me it could be due to poor blood circulation at the end of the nose ?

Thanks.

i have it as well and couldn't be somewhere more obvious could it? the dermatologist told me it was a broken blood vessel and she applied extreme heat to it and it scabbed for 3 days then it came back. she did it again for free and it came back again. now i am just living with it and hoping it's not as noticeable to others.

Thanks alot for the reply bonzer. The mark wouldnt bother me too much... its just its in such a prominent postition. The mark doesnt look like the spider marks left by capillaries but it does have a thin red line running through it. Also somedays it seems to stand out more than others ?!? which confuses me.

I have looked on the internet and found some products called "Capillary Clear" and "fade out active fade cream"

Has anyone used these ? or please could you recommend something else.

Thanks alot
