Anyone out there have a full tummy tuck, which muscles tightened and a breast lift with breast implants that can tell me what kind of pain to expect? I thought that if I do both together it will be painful all at one time. I have an opportunity that someone can care for me for a week and need both done. Also, I'm afraid I may not go back if I have one done first, because the pain will be in my mind and also I will have to wait until next year to do the other surgery.
Is the pain of doing both bearable? and does anyone have any advice of how they did it?

I can share with you my experience.
When I have my breast agumentation, lift, I also had a tummy tuck and liposuction (thighs,underarms,back)...here is the recovery I went through.
I won't lie the first four/five days were hell! The were not enough pain killers, and often that did not even help! But it was my choice to do all together and I kept reminding myself of that! I could not really be alone during this time, as I needed help just to go to the washroom, that is when you know your husband/partner, must love you...lol.
The following week, I was still quite sore, but could get up and down myself at this point(from the sofa to bed) but I did not leave the house. It was a good two weeks of just lying around before I felt much like doing anything!
(You asked for the truth)
It was hard at first adjusting to the tight and sore feeling in my abs but as the weeks progressed I got better. My scaring is low and minimal, and not noticable in my bathing suit.
By the fifth week of recovery I could move around quite well. Could still not really lift heavy objects, or run a marathon, but was feeling better.
It was really the eight week mark that I started to look and feel normal, I still had tenderness, I still was a bit puffy, but I was getting there.
In total I started truly liking the results 6 months after the surgery date, now I feel totally natural and feel no side effects or pain....My surgeon said it best, and he was right, it is surgery, it takes recovery time, you can't rush it,
and the pain is very real, but it does go away, and "you" wan't the procedures...and the truth and bluntness is important through all of it!
Hope it helped.

Hi Izing2,
It's me from the other thread. I had posted this question a while ago and didn't get a response. Then I posted the breast implant question and you replied to that one. Now I see you are replying to this question. Was the pain bearable. I have a friend helping me, no significate other right now I can depend on. If I have to deal with the pain for about one week I think I can manage, I don't expect to be moving much. Although, after the week I need to go home and somewhat be there for my young teenage sons. I'm not having lipo, do you think that cause more pain for you? I'm planning to take off work for three weeks, I am less mobile at work than I will ever be at home. Did you do anything special for the pain? Or is there anything that now thinking back you should have done for the surgery? Thanks again! I'm glad you responded, your the positive one, and I like that!!
