Hey ya'll!!!! Hazel, great idea!!!!

My name is Jackie
me-26
DH-27
TTC #2

went off BCP in August 06. Sept. cycle came at 28 days and that was the last cycle I had as I got pregnant! Unfortunately ended in a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks. Had to have an emergency D&C, got my period 28 days after the surgery. In February I went 37 days without AF and was put on Provera to start it, it came after being on Provera for 7 days. My most recent cycle was 36-37 days, O on CD26.. hoping they'll get shorter and more regular.. but also hoping the next one doesn't come for 9 months :p (currently on CD 9).

TTCing without medical help so far, this will be our second cycle trying. Charting BBT and CM and using OPKs.

Good luck to everyone and LOTS of baby dust!!!!!

Good Idea! I've been wondering the same myself with all the bfp's here lately!

Me 28
DH 36

ttc # 1 for two years- only four months with medical help.

Pcos symptoms, irregular and all the other nasty things that go along with it such as weight etc.

ttc with clomid and metformin helping my body work! also take prog. to start af. one out of two months so far I've o'd.:D for the first time in two years of tracking...:blob_fire

I bbt and opk to see fertile times (I'm still amazed I got a pos. opk last month. I've used so many with no pos I didn't think it was possible for me!)

Husband has fertility issues to with the quality etc. so God willing we can do this on our own, if not in four month's we're going to be doing iui for three cycles, after that if I'm not pg we'll see what we see at that point.

Maybe soon we can ALL meet on the pregnancy board!!:blob_fire :blob_fire

Hello

I think someone did this a few months ago, but you're right, we do have some new faces...

Me - 29
DH - 33
We are in our 3rd cycle of ttc #1, on CD 13, no O yet.
We have been charting for 4 cycles (bbt & cm)
Used opks last month but they didn't work for us so I probably won't waste the money again.
I have actually been off bcp since June 06 and even though were were not using any bc, we were not actually ttc. Since being off bc, my cycles have ranged from 30-40 days, with 31-33 being the most common.
Last month was the most dissapointing bfn, we did and timed everything to a tee...but still no bfp

I really hope to start the new 2008 year off right with a January baby :bouncing: I told DH it was his fault last month b/c he didn't want a december baby (he has a december b-day and knows how hard it is to compete with Christmas, lol)

Keep your heads up...you are all in my prayers

Hi all!

Me 32
DH 30
TTC #1
Married 4 years

I just got off BCPs last month. Waiting for AF around the 17th of this month and hoping that I'll have normal cycles after being on BCP for 14 years. Heard that the first month after BCP is not a good time to TTC so we are hoping to start calculating and BDing after AF on the 17th?????? Baby Dust to you all!

Hi everyone

My name is Claire
Me -36
Fiance - 38
TTC #1 for 18mnths
Cycles pretty regular 28 - 30
No meds, OPK's, monitor cm

Fiance had vas reversal 18 mnths ago. First count aft opp was good. Because still no BFP, doc won't go mad on test yet as in England you have to TTC for 2 yrs before they really help so just having bloods done to test hormones, exam to check all bits in right places and fiance another count to check still improving.
Its so good to have people to talk to. Never been on such a roller coaster of emotions in my whole life.

Great Idea!!!

My name is Jenny
Me-28
DH-27
Darling step daughter-5

Here is a little about our situation
Me and the dh got married on 2/18/06 and have been together for almost 5 years. We have full custody of his little girl Maya. We decided to go off of birth control when we went on our honeymoon. I had a period on March 12, 2006 and kept waiting for my next period to come so I could start charting. Towards the middle of April, I kept having symptoms but I thought there was no way I was pregnant. I was really tired all the time, I would gag over things that never bothered me before, felt nausas alot in the afternoons and the evenings. Everyone kept saying, "I bet your pregnant", so I ended up buying a hpt at the end of April and it said I was pregnant. I think I was in shock! Went to my first doctors appt. about a week later. I had my first u/s on May 10. I remember being so excited to actually be able to see my growing baby. That excitement turned into my worst fear coming true. They couldn't find a h/b. I was 8 weeks along and completely devastated. A week later on May 17, my obgyn performed a d & c. She told us to wait 3 months before trying again. I believe my period came in the middle of July and lasted for a week, then I got another period in July about 2 weeks later. After my d & c, my doctor had me going for regular blood checks to make sure my hcg levels were dropping. They dropped pretty fast until it hit the 8 level mark and it just kind of lingered there. It took 3 months for my hcg levels to drop below 2.9 which is considered negative. With that being said, my doctor put me back on bcp and told us to wait another 6 months because she was concerned that I might have had a partial molar pregnancy so I had to get blood tests every month to make sure my hcg levels remained under 2.9. I took my last bcp in January 07, and I had my last blood test on Feb. 7, 2007 so the doctor gave us the go ahead to start ttc in Feb, 07. My periods were always irregular before I started taking bcp 5 years ago, but lately it has been ranging 30-33 days. Currently we are on cycle #3, cd 9. If I calculated right, I will o on the 21 & 22. We are not using any medical help right now. I am just trying to keep track of my cycle to try and figure out when I might o. I hope everyone on this boards stay is short and sweet. I hope we all get our BFP we are waiting for so anxiously. Here's to '08 babies!!! :blob_fire :blob_fire :blob_fire

Lots and lots of sticky baby dust to everyone!!

Me 30
DH 29
TTC #1
Married October 06

I got of BCPs November 06 first AF Dec 5th BFP on Jan 11 went to Dr he said I was 6weeks preg so excited. Bleeding started 1 day before my 12week mark bled for a week then they did D&C bled for another week tried to go back to normal so went to the gym caused major bleeding and clots so was put on bed rest for two days and doing nothing physical for 2 weeks incl bd. DH a littled scared to try again but I am soo ready. Dr was going to put me back on BC I said no way we'll be careful. I wanted to start right away DH wanted to wait so we comprimised and will talk about it in may. In the mean time on nothing so kinda leaving it up to fate if nothing by may will talk to DH and really start trying hopefully. I have never charted or used OPK or temp so I don't know how??? My dream :-) to be pregnant by Sept so that when my EDD for the baby l lost comes on sept 10 it makes it easier to deal with.
Fear it'll takes years or will never happen.

:) Hello there, this is my first post on any forum or chat room, EVER.

i am so excited to meet you all and learn so much from all your experiences in hopes of having my own spectacular, magical, and im sure exhausting experience. Here is a little about me:)

My name is Lyndsay, ive just turned 22years old, my husband is 29. We recently got married in December last year and had been together for 4 years prior to that.
we have always known that once we bought the house and got married that the next thing on the agenda was baby. we have not been actively TTC but have not been preventing either. we would both Love to be pregnant by the time DH turns 30 in november, but niether of us will be too devastated if this does not happen.
I have never been on any contraception besides the withdrawal method which worked very well for the past 4years. it been 4 months since we have been married and i have to admit that i expected to be pregnant by now. My cycle is usually about 33days long so this has made it a bit difficult to predict ovulation. i guess i have been a little worried about conceiving as both of my sisters have fallen pregnant accidently using the withdrawal method and i have not. it is possible that my husband has better self control than their partners (well thats what he likes to think any way hahaha) but i am not sure. i have a great support system with my mum, sisters and an absolutely fantastic and supportive husband but i think it will be very beneficial to learn from those in the same situation as me.

thanks for listening any comments would be welcomed [/FONT]

It's fun to get to know everyone again!

Me- 28
DH- 28

DD- 14 months (she will be 2 in feb '08)
TTC#2- 5 months with an early miscarriage in Dec. 06

Dh and I are ttc with the help of pre-seed, & fertility monitor. Other than getting some bloodwork done, have sought out the help of fertility specialists. By the time dd is 2 (if nothing has happened by then) we will look into some fertility work-up. The game plan this cycle is.....................to chill out a little on my part- I tend to put too much pressure on dh. Of course, I will do the fertility monitor again. I REALLY liked it last cycle.
Good luck everyone!

Since this was bumped back up to the front, I thought that I would edit my information!!!

Hi everyone! Just thought I'd pop by and say Hi!

Me: 23 years old
DH: 24
Married one year
TTC #1, 5 cycles
diagnosed PCOS; on Metformin

I've been off bcp since June 2006. Diagnosed with PCOS last month. I am temping, but my temps are ALL over the place. One day I have a 96.8 temp, the next morning I'm at 98.2, then the day after that it's 97.3. I have NO clue what's going on there.

Now have started Metformin. Only been on since 5/14/07. We'll see what happens, but I've heard good things about Metformin.

Hi!!! Okay here the stats

Jessica
Age:26
DH Age:26
Married:8-29-03
TTC:11 months
DEPO PROVERA shots for almost ten years..... what was I thinking?

We are trying to do this naturally and we hope it works, I BBT like it is some sort of religion and I pay attention to my CM. Have only BBT for 17 days, this is my first cycle doing it, and I think it is cool.... DH has a really hard time performing..... it is stress over having to make sure we have healthy sperm and we BD on the right days.... And as much as I try to make sure he doesn't know I am O'ing, he always does... might be TMI, but it took almost 45 minutes of BD for him to finish, and I know most people are thinking that would be great, but when I have one thing on my mind, both him and I are like DUDE!!!!! Get it done already!!!!!!! ARGGGGGG! Sex should be fun, and half the time we feel like here we go, lets get er done!!! Okay, thats me!!!! Great idea! know, when I am reading posts, I can come back to this one and refresh the background!!!!

Me - 29
DH - 31

TTC #1 - 4 cycles
I monitor BBT, CM and OPKs
O'ing reguarly between days 16-19, with a regular AF every 29-31 days. I guess I at least have that going for me.

On CD 24, 8 DPO and am feeling zilch. I never get sore BBs, so I don't even have that hope every month!

Am starting to feel resentful towards friends w/ babies, which is so not fair. But, I'm kind of a control freak, so not being able to control this is just killing me. I had my regular OB/GYN visit in January, when we first started trying and everything looked okay (just general stuff). OB/GYN scheduled me for a follow up early in June in case I wasn't pregnant yet, so I'm hoping he will be aggressive. I KNOW it's early, but as you all know, it feels like forever in TTC land and at this point I AM just sure that something (endo, something) is very wrong w/ me.

I don't really chart, used opk's once, but I get extreme ovulation pain so I pretty much know when I ovulate. With my other 2 I got pregnant the first time. Actually, with my first I had missed some pills and ended up pregnant. I guess this time I thought it would happen right away. I did get pregnant with a 3rd, but had a miscarriage at 9 weeks and had to have a D & C, 2 years ago this month. I have a doc appt June 7 to get things checked out.
