Hello everyone. I'm usually over on the Pain Management/Chronic Pain section but now I have some skin issues. Just recently (over the last 2 months) I have discovered a ton of little and very irritating skin tags (little pieces of skin) growing under my armpits and now growing on the underside of my upper arms. This has come on so suddenly that I'm totally confused as to why they are blooming like crazy. In addition to this, I've developed pin-point rashes in little clusters around my armpits and on my chest. I don't use any deoderant at all and haven't changed soaps or powder, etc. Does anyone know why we get skin tags and has anyone ever experienced a huge proliferation of them in a short period of time? I'll be making an appointment with my dermatologist on Monday, but know if could take a month to get in to see her. I've looked on the internet and learned that these can be zapped by the doctor to remove them, but in the meantime I'm asking folks on this board for info or ideas.
