That would depend on how old you are.

Both those meds are not good to take at any age as they can cause severe tolerance and dependancy issues. Anti-psychotics like seroquel can eventually damage the nervous system. Maybe your parents are doing you a big favor.
Only problem is, if you switched over directly from klonopin to seroquel, you could suffer withdrawals from the klonopin despite the seroquel.

First of all, you are not dying. Anxiety is not a life-threatening illness. It isn't good for you to tell yourself that, or to think that.
Second, if you are under 18 and your parents are your legal guardians, it is within their right to restrict you from taking anything. I do not know if it is legal for your doctor to prescribe it anyway.

I would like to politely disagree with the seroquel issue. Seroquel is a wonderful alternative to xanax. It is not addictive.
be well.

Seroquel can cause dependancy and tolerance, which is physical. Addiction itself is considered mainly psychological, so it isn't a factor here.
Seroquel is an antipsychotic aka neuoleptic, this classs used to be called major tranquilizers of which have been shown to cause some nervous system damages over time.

Ladies,
You've both stated your opinions.
Now it's time to agree to disagree and move on.
