1 month ago my left eye would just start tearing. It was going on for a few weeks and then I started getting a little green/yellow discharge in the corner next to the nasal side. I saw the eye doctor and he gave me antibiotic/steroid drops(TobraDex) for 5 days. Symptoms cleared up but after 2 weeks they have returned and it seems woese than ever. Constant green/yellow discharge out of the corner. To make matters worse I also have a sinus/head cold that wont quit !!! Blah !!!!!! I'm back on the medicine now for 3 days and its still not better...I also do compresses and eye lid scrubs to help. My doctor is well known and tells me this will be chronic and there's nothing you can do about it. Hmmmm...Really ?? Any input would be great !!!

Surely, there is something that can be done. It seems that you may need an antibiotic to counter this (both the eye discharge and the sinus/head cold). Perhaps, you should see your family doctor, ENT, or internist.
