Curious to know if others with dry eyes also have blurred vision in one of the eyes upon waking in the morning. I have this problem and it takes about 2 hours to subside, or continue off and on during the day.
When I have blurred vision in the outer area of the eye, it feels like the eye socket is very full and uncomfortable. The other eye will be just fine, not really aware of the presence of eye in the socket. Pressure in the eye is normal when doctor has checked.
I have mentioned it to the doctor off and on and he only says it is the nature of dry eye disease. It is the right eye that gives me the most trouble with blurred vision. I had Bells Palsy in 1965 on the right side of my face. Not sure if this has any relation to the full socket feel or not.
In general when dry eyes bother me it is the surface of the eyeball, not the entire socket. Not sure what else it could be.
