Hi folks,
For those of you who are experiencing an 'upturn' in condition or symptoms, (and those who are not) how often do you get your blood checked? I want to get mine checked again at the one month mark but I feel like the doctor might think I'm overreacting or something. I just feel like I want to keep an eye on my numbers which are out of normal range (ferritin, RDW, hematocrit, iron and iron saturation).

It probably depends on the dr, and how low your numbers are.

When I was really anemic, my hematologist checks me every two weeks, but once I've started showing improvement, she eases up and checks every four. In the meantime, though, if trouble happens, I call and she'll check me sooner.
