I have a strange vision problem that no one can diagnose. In My right eye everything farther away than 5 feet is somewhat blurry, but if you use your finger and apply a little pressure right above the eyelid everything is crystal clear. The problem gets worse as the day goes on, you all may thing i am crazy, but when i drive my car i put a piece of tape above my eye so it pulls on the skin, and i have 20/20 again. I think my eye muscles may be doing that because of fatigue, but nobody knows.

Basically, you are short-sighted in one eye. When you press on your eyelid, you are adjusting the eye muscles to compensate for this. If you are happy driving like that, OK, but it would be a good idea anyway to see an ophthalmologist. There may be an underlying cause as to why only one eye is short-sighted.

I forgot to add that a while back like OCT 06 both eyes were like this, and over a period of 2 weeks they both were clear again, and just now this month it is just the right eye. I went to the eye doctor and they did a vision test and my left eye was 20/15 and the right was 20/20. Anyone have any ideas why this is happening, i don't wan't to go blind, but for some reason i think it has something to do with the muscles that control the eyes getting tired, as it gets worse as the day goes on. Could it be that when i use my computer at night i sit off to the side and focus on the screen with just that eye. It is a CRT monitor by the way.

Very odd that the problem would be in both eyes and go away. If your vision is 20/20 in the affected eye, that kind of rules out myopia. If you think it's a muscle problem, the best doctor to see is a pediatric ophthalmologist. They deal with strabismus and amblyopia in children and are more familiar with eye muscle problems. You could check the AAPOS site to find a certified PO in your area.
