Hi Jane, how is everything with you? Have you had the surgery to remove the cyst yet?

I am still on Prozac 20mg and am doing well. The weather has gotten me a little depressed over the last a few days, but not too bad. Last time we talked you said your anxiety and depression are both gone. Are you feeling well now?

I will be out of the country for 6 weeks from this Saturday. So I just wanted to check and see how you are doing before I leave. Hope all is well with you!

Hey! I am doing OK. My anxiety is under control and my depression is better.

I finally changed my PCP and my new doctor made me get my hormones checked. Well - my estrogen level is 842 and it should be 50 and under. I also have a large ovarian cyst that need to come out.

So I have an appointment the beginning of May to figure out what to do next.

Maybe this is why the big weight gain and the "brain fog".

I still get some weird sensations now and again but it is controllable with the Linden.

Out of the country!!! good for you! I am glad that you are doing well on Prozac - I really wish I could have continued - I really liked it in the beginning. I would rather take that than a klonopin any day.

Jane, I am glad to hear you are doing okay. When will you have the surgery to remove the cyst? And what medication do they usually use to treat abnormal hormone level?

I still have some weird sensations now and then too, but also controllable. I am so relieved that Prozac is working fine. Yes it will be very nice to take a break---I am going back to my country to spend sometime with my parents and relatives. I am very excited about it! I am sure it will help with my anxiety and depression problem. I am also taking a 10-week leave from work, so when I get back I don't have to go to work right away. I have almost a whole month of June to relax.

If the current diagnosis and treatment don't work on your brain fog, I would suggest that you give name brand Prozac a try. It is pretty mild and helpful.

I hope the weather will become nicer soon so you will enjoy your days more!

I will find out the beginning of May when I meet with the Dr. when I will have the operation. I am not sure what medication they will put me on - hopefully just removing the cyst will be enough.

So glad you get to see your family and take some time off of work. You are going to feel wonderful.

have a great time!

Be safe, be healthy

and keep in touch!

Jane
