im on valum for axiety and then drink around 2 or 3 sugar free red-bull energy drinks during work to counter the sedative effect of the valium. Now last week after every weekday i stopped off at the pub for 2 pints of lager to de-activiate the caffiene, iysim. I know drinking on benzo's is not a good idea but its only two pints. All im asking is having two pints after work every weekday does that make me an alcoholic? becuase i dont NEED it, just enjoy it. But also would it lead into an addiction? thanks.
im asking for opinions and experiences, thanks. :)

The doctor advises against drinking whilst on drugs for anxiety, with good reason. I had had an occasional drink and basically it makes the anxiety 10 times worse, so for me it's just not worth it. If you like the taste, try alcohol free beers. I don't think you're addicted, but it must be worrying you to post about it in the first place!
(I love my caffiene too)

i know the doc advises against drinking whilst on any benzo, its just that its only 2 pints a day, which is hardly going to knock me out... il try drinking aclco free bevies, well its not 2 pints its 2 cans which are 500ml each so its a ltire of beer(2 pints it just a bit more than a litre), thing is in my off-licenses (im from UK) which sell beer, the nearest thing to alco free is this C2 beer which is only 2% ABV, so il try that :)

be careful with the mixing of drugs though as it can lead to general addiction, especially to the Valium, which you're likely to want to take more of over time to cover the symtoms of the other mix's.
Focusing on whether you're an Alcaholic might lead to missing the point here. Try to keep an open mind and observe your behaviour.
