I am curious who the readers/posters here aspire to? Who is your favorite competitive bodybuilder or fitness competitor/model? Is there one you feel stands out from the rest?

If you don't have a favorite, do you have one that you absolutely feel is too bulky or big?

Just curious who the regular members think, has what it takes.

The person that I admire most is Brock Lesnar. I made a post about him earlier. He is a WWE professional wrestler. What imspires me about him is that he is very young, like 23. He is really someone I can relate too.

I could look like that if somebody hooked me up with some roids.

And you think that someone can't look like that with pure hard work and dedication? Lesnar started lifting weights when he was like 7 years old. He was NCAA champion and if i'm not mistaken NCAA does test for steroids. He may have juiced when he got out of college, but when he was in college, he was still an absolute animal.

The thing about him is he looks like he weighs 350 and he is still cut. You usually can't do that without roids, (as far as I know). It would be extremely hard. I'm not going to say he is on the juice, but I'd say there is an extremely high chance. It isn't inconceivable. There is a guy at my college who can bench 625, he plays football and has been tested many times because everybody thinks he is on something. He is probably weighs 290, he is big, but not cut to shreds like the juice pumpin wwwhatever stars.

i admire the winner of the US army ranger best ranger competition... those guys are the most fit ppl i have ever seen.... can run 20 miles w/ 80 pounds of gear and no water... hard core... climb up a 50ft rope... do tons of pull ups, dips, crunches, and push ups; these guys are insane man...and my dad was a ranger so i like em anyway :D... oh ya they do all this in one day w/o sleep

I didn't want this to become a disagreement over who uses roids and who doesn't. :(

I think that someone who is already large, CAN get cut and defined without roids but it takes a strict diet and the right routine. It is possible...just not as common.

SAFASA - YES! They are amazing.

The Williams sisters, while not really body builders or fitness models, have fantastic physiques. Timea Majorova, Susie Curry, Cory Everson, Kelly Ryan, Jennifer Henderschott and Laura Mak from the pro arena.

I'll take a seal over a ranger any day. Try doing crap almost non-stop for 5 days in a row with a total of maybe 6 hours of sleep.

Personally I like a fit, toned, strong athletic guy like Lance Armstrong, who according to all reports has the highest oxygen uptake for any athlete ever recorded. Not to mention he has had cancer and still does the long haul bike racing.

I don't really follow any of that fitness stuff. Personally, I aspire to more of an abercrombie type physique [only a few months to go].

that's an interesting point about the rangers and seals though. do you think they are more fit for performing these tasks without proper rest and nutrition. would a typical elite athlete [on an intense weight and cardio program, stuffed with food and supplements, and used to lots of rest] crash harder when put through that kind of training. Like if your car only takes premium fuel, and you put in regular, it's not going to perform as well. It would be an interesting matchup at least...ponder.

I'm going for more of the envy angle . . . I envy all those models, athletes, actors, etc. who work-out and build as much as I would if I had the time they do.

I agree...Kelly Ryan and Susie Curry are definitely awesome! I don't care for Cory Everson though, she is too fakey and a little larger than I feel is attractive.

I also like Amy Fahdli. She looks great and projects herself as very kind and caring...not snooty.

For guys...I don't get into the bodybuilders as much (maybe the lightweight division) but I love a certain boxer that is from Puerto Rico. Can you guess who? He is a babe!

Of course, I wouldn't throw Brad Pitt out of my bedroom, but he is taken with that anorexic, foul-looking, pointy-chinned, talentless twit. <sigh> Guess what? I cannot stand Jennifer Aniston (even before BP). Oh no! Did I just blow my chances with Brad? ;)

im a huge fan of Bill Kazmaier even though hes not a bodybuilder its amazing to see someone squat 1000 lbs or deadlift 900lbs twice when most cant get it once. bodybuilder wise I like Lou Ferrignou that guy was one huge guy.
