View Full Version : Do symptoms of optic neuritis happen all at once???

In the past I have had episodes where I would see things float past my eyes (particularly right eye). It did not happen all of the time. It did not affect my vision. I would think that maybe my house was dusty or maybe I was able to see a floating microscopic germ or something. More recently, I have experienced stabbing eye pain behind my right eye. Once again, does not happen all of the time, mostly at night maybe two – three times one day. Then, my eye will be ok for about a week before it happens again. Now, no pain or floating things, but I have noticed that throughout the day, my right eye (I wear glasses and my right eye is my stronger than my left) has been blurry with my glasses on. This comes and goes throughout the day. The problem seems to correct itself and the next day there will be no problem with my vision at all. I was told that my MRI was within normal range. If the blurriness is normal changes in my vision, wouldn’t the blurry be there all of the time? Thanks for any imput.
