I was supposed to start my period April 6th, I'm always regular, I tested on the 9th, negative and again on the 14th, negative again! My husband and I have not been on bc for over a year. I have been extremely tired since beginning of April, bloated, nauseous with heartburn. I'm on no meds, no weight gain/loss and no new stress. I plan on testing again after the 20th, when I am offically 2 weeks late. Is there still a possibility that I'm pregnant? Should I not waste the money on another test? Has anyone else had similar exp??

The same thing happened to me. I am now 10wks pregnant with number 2. I don't know if you were trying or not, but I was and I was testing almost every single day. All I kept getting was negative after negative but still no period. Finally after about 5 weeks of testing, I finally got a faint and I do mean faint positive, and even after that continue to test to make sure I was.
Though on the other hand you can still be negative, when we started to try late last year I missed my period completely in Nov. I NEVER miss periods but I wasn't pregnant. Sometimes it does happen, but if you are trying don't give hope it will happen soon. Good luck!!!

We haven't been necessarily trying or anything but we aren't doing anything to prevent it because we do want more children but we just say it will happen when it happens. We have a 4 year old daughter also. Thank you for your story, it puts me at ease.

hiya, you might be best to wait a few days and then test again. you could be pg and not get a +. although when i have asked my doctor about missed af, she told me that is ok to miss af now and again,she said they say up to one a year is acceptable.

A friend of mine got 7 BFN in a row, she now has a 5 year old daughter. Needless to say the BFN's were wrong.

Well, i tested again on Saturday the 21st and it was another BFN. Should I be concerned or am I just skipping AF? I've never had problems before. Frustrated! Now I have to wait til AF comes to ovulate, right? Should I keep waiting or go to the doctor? I am 18 days late today. Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

Have you been checking your temps? TCOYF says that if you do, and you have at least 18 days of high temps, you are most definitely P. I've learned that is one of the great things about taking my temp every morning - I don't have to rely on those tests! Best of luck.

No, I do not take my temps. I think I want to start doing it though. What all do I need to do? Please someone give me guidance. Thank you!
