Well, I have been dealing with this again for the pas 1.5 weeks... It is driving me crazy.. I am dizzy again, and I am completely lost... I am so tired of this, and I get so sick so often.
I feel dizzy right now and am finding it increasingly difficult to cope.... I know it hasnt been such a long time this blip (HOPE), but I just want to be rid of this.....

Thanks for venting, you have explained exactly how I feel, my eyes feel so heavy, it's difficult to concentrate and my face feels as though it's had a good kicking, roll on bedtime, I have very few symptoms then!:dizzy:

Are you in the middle of a BLIP as well Sheriff?
I too tend to feel better by bedtime... I am hoping that it gradually moves to be better mornings as well... I hate feeling so miserable...
And as the same symptoms, I feel heavy eyes, and pressure on the left side of my head...

Me too! I wondered if I was crazy that by the time dinner is over and we get the kids to bed, I start to feel better! I thought I was just more relaxed then? Could be part of it maybe. Wish I could feel good in the AM too.
I also get pressure on the left side. I feel like if I were to fall over, it would be to the left. Left ear feels full. I wish I could take a nap, but it's April vacation for the kids....

Yes Tummy It's a bloomin long blip as well, I'm trying so hard to carry on as normal and not give in!
Wannarun. . . .. maybe stress from having the kids around??
WHO KNOWS!!!
wannarun 04-18-2007, 02:06 PM
maybe, as part of treatment, I should go on a trip to Aruba for a couple of weeks. Then, we'll see if I feel any better...;)
All in the name of science!! LOL
tummy2 04-18-2007, 02:07 PM
So strange..... What a terrible illness.
hang in there guys, the blip will be over eventually.... How long for you guys so far? Can you tie it to something?
sheriff56 04-18-2007, 02:47 PM
Wannarun, the flight from here is longer than from there so let me know when your going and I'll meet you there!! Brill idea.
Tummy 19 months for me, although last summer was pretty good most of the time, I did think maybe the weather had something to do with it, but we've had very good warm sun here in the uk for just over a week now and I can't say I've felt any better???
Weird, I can think of no triggers this time.
:dizzy: Jayne:rolleyes:
wannarun 04-18-2007, 03:41 PM
I'm leaving on the airplane now...LOL
9months for me. I know it's not long compared to others, but I cannot sit around letting this go on for any longer than I have to.
I actually am waiting to hear back from my PCP to see if I could get hormone testing and/or lymes test. I've never had any of these things ruled out...
I cannot pinpoint any triggers-except hunger and tiredness makes it worse.

Hey im packing my case too! If a holiday is part of our treatment count me in! ......now then what colour bikini???!!!! he he
tummy2 04-18-2007, 04:42 PM
I have often thought about this... I have som estrange thoughts, because everytime I feel better I try to understand what is going on.
Here are some of the things I noticed on and off.
1) The first sign of improvement was when I would wake up in the middle of the night. I normally do not sleep well at all... I wake up 2-3 times during teh night, however, when I have this dizziness, I sleep through the entire night without waking... Its ike my body is completely and utterly exhausted.
2) Strange vivid dreams... I have some strange dreams I dont know why.. they are Vivid!
3) When I started waking up again, I noticed that it was 3AM, and I thought I felt kinda ok.... Strange?
4) I can have tight neck/pain in my neck, but If I feel better in the evening, all that goes away
5) Fatigue is another symptom... I Dont generally know if it is fatigue, but it feels like I coud sleep.
6) I always thought that the recovery process may start in the evenings for me, and at different times of the day for others. For example: I start feeling better 3AM-4AM, then that range gradually increases backwards, so that soon I start feeling much better at 10PM,9PM,8PM etc... etc.. Who knows if thats the case... My thought was that everyone improves at a certain time, and that time extends itself gradually.. but everyones time is different.

For me
1)I always sleep well until about 4 ish then toss and turn after that with the feeling that the bed is rocking like a boat, it doesn't feel like that when I first get into bed.
2) Yes vivid dreams, so lifelike and very often relate to somewhere I've worked or been or met in the past, recently they have been about ex collegues I've worked with??
3) As no 1
4)Yes tight neck pain tingling shoulders, almost feel like they are burning at times.
5)Fatigue is what I'd call it, but mental fatigue, the body is willing but the brain won't have it
6)I get up feeling ok, tails off throughout the day hit low point at 4-5pm then 11pm I'm ready to party (well almost)

do any of you find that having a lie in makes you feel worse? I tend to feel loads better when i get up early. Which is annoying when you want to have lie in!
Maria,
Just wanted to say that changes in sleep patterns is a migraine trigger. When I am symptomatic if I have a lie in it makes me worse and brings symptoms on. However when I am in a migraine free phase I can do it with no problem.
maria1007 04-19-2007, 02:18 PM
Hbep,I didnt know that, thats interesting.Today i got up at half six and felt like i could climb mountains! I have had no dizziness at all today and no headache.I am starting to have more good days than bad at the moment.I dont know if its something im doing or just because i am not focusing on my symptoms as much. I have been trying to just get on with things and do everything i usually would.I had a bad stint about a month back and got really down about it. But i thought hey i could feel like this forever, but i shouldnt let my symptoms ruin my life!My hubby always says, positive thinking helps no end,and he is right it does!
sheriff56 04-19-2007, 02:43 PM
A lie-in no chance of that in this house!!!

Its such a great feeling to feel "normal" again!Your right though i do still have days when i feel awful, but i suppose thats all part of this illness.Feel a bit rough today but thats because our little 9 month old daughter thought it would be good to get up at half four this morn for a cuddle in our bed he he! Not to worry.
