Hello....Over the past three years i have been wearing contacts that werent even myne...they were either my friends or my brothers....but i have been sleeping in them for montjs at a tim not changing them b.c my parents would not buy me them as i was too young....about every 6 moths my eye HURTS alot and i take the contacts out and treat my eyes with special eye drops bc of the pain....today it felt that way so i did and i went home from sohool and my eye was BLOODSHOT RED and i h ad taken the contacts out and now im here with little pain than before and i had noticed my vision is worse....i only use one contact not 2 and my left eye that would contain the contact is WORSE vision than my right eye..please help

Wow. I don't even know where to start telling you how many things you've been doing wrong. You need to see an eye doctor ASAP. There's no telling what kind of damage you've done to your eyes by messing around with contacts like you've been doing. Contact lenses are medical devices, NOT toys.

Wow! You could be in some real trouble with your eyes. You need to fess up to your parents (I'm assuming you are a minor) and have them get you to the doctor immediately. Things could get a lot worse for you and very very painful. You shouldn't play around anymore, you could really regret it. I'm recovering from a damaged cornea and it is really something else. I hope for the best for you.

Be aware...you can do a lot of damage to your eyes by sleeping with your contacts in and keeping them in your eyes for such long periods of time...your depriving your eyes of oxygen! Not to mention...using someone elses prescription? Ugghh. I used to sleep with my contacts in...a matter of fact...I used to leave them in 24/7 and I'd just squeeze some saline into my eyes in them morning. It was very dumb of me...I was young and I almost paid a huge price. One day my eye started really hurting and became extremely sensitive to light...it hurt pretty bad and I knew something was wrong. I was forming an ulcer in my eye from leaving my contact in for too long!! Lucky for me I caught it right in time and my eye doc. was able to help me before the ulcer formed. Otherwise...it would have been good bye contacts and chance of ever getting laser surgery and who knows what else? Bottom line...what you're doing is very unhealthy for your eyes and if you're experiencing pain you should not put those contacts back in your eyes... and see an Eye Doctor ASAP!! Sorry to hear you parents aren't supportive of you getting contacts but don't mess with your eyes like that!
