Well I finally got my diagnosis and it's lupus. Guess I'll be going over there now. I want to thank everyone who gave me encouragement and answered my questions. Best of luck to everyone and good health .

gonna miss you atascadero biker girl. which flavor of lupus did you get? i have it too. never went to the lupus site. since fibro and lupus are virtually the same in symptoms i decided to stay where i feel good, here. no doubt there are some wonderful people at the lupus site as well. probably goldie goes there.
be careful in the sun, drink lots of water and stay away from steroids for as long as you can, please.

Thanks bluelakelady...I have SLE. Actually I'm glad to finally have the diagnosis. I sort of feel like a fish out of water so I'm scrambling for info right now. Thanks for your input. I'll come back and "visit" sometimes. I'm still determined to ride the bike to Colorado in 2 weeks. I just started placquinel. Have you tried that ,and did it help you? I may have to do a short course of prednisone to make it through this trip otherwise it's certainly not my drug of choice,and i'm going to stay as far away from it for as long as possible.
