im 24 -- i can feel something in my throat sometimes... esp when i drink alcohol... or lots of soda

You could have acid reflux. I just was diagnosed with it today. The ear nose and throat specialist told me that I need to avoid alcohol, soda and caffeine.
Acid reflux is treatable but if you have it, you have to be on medication. I would see a doctor if I were you.

It makes me lean toward acid reflux as well.. alcohol and carbonated beverages are triggers for it.

it feels like almost a cut in my throat.... its been goin on a couple months... sometimes hard to swallow....

is that what acid reflux usually is???
